Help Us Choose A Winner of the Halloween Photo Contest

Last week we shared some of our favorite Halloween YouTube tutorials with you. This week we have some equally impressive makeovers to show you which were all styled by the talented students at Salon Success Academy!

Cosmetology students styled their spookiest, craziest Halloween makeovers on their classmates, then submitted photos of their work through a special application the Salon Success Academy Page on Facebook. The submission period ended on October 18th and the photos were turned over to the Facebook fans to choose a winner.

The contest generated 39 spooky submissions from Salon Success Academy students and over 700 votes from Facebook fans. Makeovers ranged from the Bride of Frankenstein, to a Day of the Dead Candy Skull, to a comic book character, to a Walking Dead Zombie, and more. Check the photos out for yourself and vote for your favorite!

“The Halloween photo contest was a great way to expose our students’ creativity and talent to our online community,” the owner of Salon Success Academy Robert Gross said. “This contest goes to show that the students at Salon Success Academy are some of the most talented up-and-coming beauty professionals in the southern California area.”

The student who styled the Halloween makeover with the most votes will win a $75 gift card to Target. Voting ends on Tuesday, October 30th at 11:59 p.m. We’ll announce the winner on the Salon Success Academy Page on Facebook on Halloween Day!

Salon Success Academy is a beauty school with five locations in California’s Inland Empire, in Redlands, Fontana, Upland, San Bernardino, and Corona. The beauty school offers extensive, hands-on training in cosmetology, esthetics, and nail technology in flexible class schedules and financial aid assistance to students who qualify.
