Financial Aid Options Available at Salon Success Academy
While we believe that the cost of an education at our California beauty school is an investment in your future, we understand everyone has a different financial situation. That’s why Salon Success Academy offers a number of financial aid options that are available to those who qualify. For example, we are approved through the U.S. Department of Education to offer Pell Grants and Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants to students who qualify. Our financial aid team is ready to help you better understand your financial aid options and how you can apply.
Discover Financial Aid Options That You May Qualify For
The first step to learning which financial aid options you qualify for is filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). In fact, this step is so important that we want all applicants to our school to fill out the FAFSA® before enrolling. Here are the financial aid codes for our school campuses:

Most Common Types of Financial Aid
Salon Success Academy is able to offer a variety of different types of financial aid, such as:
- Federal Pell Grant, which is a grant based on family earnings and does not have to be repaid
- Subsidized loans, which are need-based and do not charge interest while you’re in school
- Unsubsidized loans, which are not need-based and do accrue interest while you are in school
- Scholarships, which you must apply for and do not have to be repaid
When is the best time to get help with your enrollment and financial aid questions? We would love to talk to you in person when you tour one of our schools! Schedule a tour, and we will book a time so you can learn more about our programs and student life, and we will schedule an admissions interview, which is the perfect time to ask financial aid questions.

We proudly offer programs in Cosmetology, Esthetics, Barbering, Nail Tech, and continuing education courses in Make-Up Designory.
The length of time you spend at our school may vary depending on the program you choose and whether you enroll as a full-time student or a part-time student. See the individual programs for specific details about how many hours are required and how long that may take you.
As an accredited school, Salon Success Academy is able to offer financial aid to all students who qualify, whether or not they are attending school full-time or part-time.
To enroll in our programs, you must be at least 17 years old and have U.S. completion of 12th grade (diploma or transcripts), GED, or pass results for the HiSET or TASC exam.
