It doesn’t matter if you’re in love or you’re still looking -you probably want to look your absolute best this Valentine’s Day. So, your hair and makeup need to be flawless!
Here are the four top romantic trends to try right now! Which one of these looks will you be rocking this Valentine’s Day? Let us know by commenting below.
Pink Pout – Pink lipstick will draw everyone’s attention right to your lips! Isn’t that exactly what you want on Valentine’s Day? The key to this look is wearing minimal makeup and finding your perfect shade of blush pink lipstick. The right blush pink will look nude colored, but have a pinkish hue, and a touch of gold undertones.
Rose Gold Shadow – Everyone seems to be sporting rose gold eyeshadow these days! This metallic color that’s not quite gold, but not quite bronze, is universally flattering on all skin tones, which must by why it’s so popular. To wear this look, simply apply rose gold shadow directly to the center of your lid using a blending brush. You can also blend in champagne and additional bronze colors to add even more dimension to your eyes.
Braided Twist – A braided updo is a chic, romantic looking hairstyle that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day! To wear this look, first set your hair in loose waves using a curling iron, then run your fingers through the hair to give it a beachy texture. Next, divide the hair into two sections. Braid your hair loosely and secure the ends with elastics. Roll and twist the braids, going back and forth, and secure in place with bobby pins. To get a messier look, just pull parts of the braids out and leave a hair strands framing your face.
Big Waves – There’s no rule saying that you have to wear your hair up for Valentine’s Day. Big, tousled waves are a perfectly playful way to wear your hair down for the romantic holiday. Before you blow dry, start by applying volumizing spray or mousse to your damp hair. Once your hair is dry, begin using a large barreled curling iron to curl just the middle of the section of the hair. Keeping the curling iron away from the roots and the ends will give you a more laid back look. Brush out the curls and finish with hairspray.
