New Beauty School Opens in Corona

The new location of Salon Success Academy & Spa in Corona, California officially opened its door on Tuesday! The new beauty school boasts flexible night classes, new equipment, and a high-end salon and spa where students can gain experience working with high-end clientele.

After months of construction and remodeling, Salon Success Academy & Spa opened its new location 2097 Compton Avenue, Suite 1, on November 6. The 11,500 square-foot building is part of the Corona Corporate Center, conveniently located right off I-15 and near Highway 91.

The new beauty school in Corona offers extensive, hands-on training in cosmetology, esthetics, and nail technology. With the new building, the beauty school can now offer flexible class schedules, including night classes, and accommodate more students.

Students and staff were very excited for the new school’s opening on Tuesday! The day kicked off with a tour of the new building, followed by a meeting to introduce the new staff members. Senior students were assigned their lockers and helped organize products and supplies inside the salon. Esthetician students also met to review improvements to the curriculum and become familiar with the new equipment in the spa room.

One of the biggest improvements in the new school is the high-end salon and spa that’s inside, which has the personal touch of an interior designer. The salon includes 22 stations with new hydraulic chairs and new shampoo bowls. Inside the spa, there are five hydraulic spa beds, combination ozone steamers, magnifying lamps, and high frequency units.

The improvements to the salon and spa is meant to attract more high-end clientele to the beauty school, so students will be getting more training before they graduate. Clients can receive the same services they’d receive in a high-end salon or spa for a fraction of the price. All services are performed by students, under the supervision of licensed instructors.
