The Salon Success Academy flagship campus is located in beautiful Upland, California.

It includes our corporate offices, our largest student facilities, and is where most beauty programs are offered. The Upland campus is situated at the borders of Upland and Rancho Cucamonga on Historic Route 66. We have students commuting to our Upland campus from all over Southern California.

Located in the historic city of Upland, our flagship campus is on East Foothill Boulevard (Route 66) in the Foothill Shopping Center, directly between the 10 and 210 freeways. We are in the Walmart parking lot and have parking reserved for students and staff.

This campus is 15,780 square feet and includes a salon floor, clinic skin care service rooms, and a dispensary. There are four large classrooms, a MUD Makeup room and an audio/visual (library) room, administrative offices, a student break room, restrooms, and a teacher’s break room. The beauty programs we offer include Cosmetology, Esthetics, Barbering, Nail Technology, and continuing education courses in Make-Up Designory.

How do I choose which program is right for me?

Our Upland campus offers Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Technology, Barbering, and Make-Up Designory. Cosmetology students learn a wide array of beauty skills, while Estheticians are focused more on skin care. Barbers focus on men’s hair care and grooming, Nail Techs focus on nails, and Make-Up Designory students concentrate on the application of make-up. Which of these programs are you passionate about? Also, ask yourself if you are going to be a full-time or part-time student, and how long you want to be in school. Do you want to take our 1,200-hour Cosmetology course, or would the shorter Nail Technology course be a better fit for you? What are the student clinics for?

Our student clinics are a simulated professional salon, spa, and barbershop. Students provide the services that are offered there as part of their beauty education. They are always under the direct supervision of licensed professionals, who will guide the students through each service and give advice when needed. Anyone from the community can schedule an appointment at our student clinics to receive a haircut, coloring service, manicure, facial, or another one of our services. We strive to give our clients a professional salon, spa, or barbershop experience.

Can I schedule a service at the student clinic?

Are the classes at Upland big?

Although the Upland campus is our biggest campus, we strive to keep class sizes small, so students can benefit from more one-on-one time with our experienced instructors. Salon Success Academy is a family-owned and operated company, and we welcome each student into the school as part of our family!

What does it mean that Make-Up Designory is a continuing education course?

At this time, we are only offering our Make-Up Designory course to professionals who already have their Cosmetology or Esthetics license. The Make-Up Designory course does not have any school credits attached to it. It is more of a skill-building class for professionals who want to learn more about make-up application.

How do I schedule a tour of the Upland campus?

Contact our admissions team, and we’ll book a tour at the Upland campus! Your school tour will consist of touring the classrooms and the clinic areas, meeting with current students and instructors, and participating in an admissions interview. During the interview, we will go over the enrollment process from start to finish, discuss our programs, answer your questions, and ask you a few questions about your educational goals. It’s our goal to help you feel more comfortable at our beauty school.
