Beauty School Scholarships
Part of our commitment toward helping you succeed in your dreams to be a cosmetologist, esthetician, barber, nail tech, or another beauty professional is to provide you with every opportunity to afford our beauty school education in California.
We have compiled some amazing scholarships that you might be eligible to apply for. Scholarship opportunities do tend to change and vary based on the year and season, so it is important that you do your own research to ensure you are eligible for a certain scholarship and that it is still available.

Minerva Beauty Cosmetology Scholarships
Minerva Beauty assists up-and-coming stylists with beauty school scholarships to help cover tuition, fees, and supplies. In previous years, they have awarded a $2,500 scholarship four times a year.

Professional Beauty Association (PBA) Scholarships
A number of scholarships are available for beauty school students and licensed professionals wanting to continue their education. Take a look at the various scholarships and their deadlines here.
This is an annual scholarship fund for future salon professionals. Two $250 scholarships are awarded each year.
- Student applicants must be currently enrolled in a cosmetology, barber, or esthetics program in the US or Canada, resulting in a cosmetology, barber, or esthetics license.
- Continuing education programs or students with an existing cosmetology, barber, or esthetics license do not qualify.
Great Clips® Scholarship
Great Clips supports the future of the beauty industry by awarding over $100,000 total to beauty school students every year. If you are a future stylist or barber in the U.S. or Canada, you are invited to apply for a scholarship valued up to $5,000.
The Great Scholarship is open to individuals who meet these requirements:
- at least 16 years of age or older
- legal resident of the 50 United States (including D.C.) or Canada (excluding Quebec)
- enrolled in a cosmetology or barbering program

Scholarship FAQs
Yes, we are. Many scholarships require the recipient to be enrolled in an accredited beauty school. We are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS). Accreditation ensures the highest standards in cosmetology education. We are also recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
To enroll in our programs, you must be at least 17 years old and have U.S. completion of 12th grade (diploma or transcripts), GED, or pass results for the HiSET or TASC exam.
Contact our Financial Aid team! We know that paying for tuition can be a major roadblock in your educational path. Discuss your situation with us, and we will offer whatever assistance we can to find you financial aid or scholarship opportunities that may help you afford the costs of your desired program.
