Overview of the Make-Up Designory Program

Continuing education in the beauty industry is key to staying on top of the ever-changing trends and techniques. If you are already a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician, you can continue your make-up education and earn a Make-Up Designory Beauty Essentials Certificate. This 84-hour course is offered to alumni and non-alumni of Salon Success Academy. It is only offered at the Upland and West Covina campuses.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 17 years old, reflecting our commitment to providing a comprehensive education for individuals who are truly dedicated to pursuing a career in barbering.
Educational Credentials: We require proof of U.S. completion of the 12th grade, which can be demonstrated through a high school diploma or transcripts. Alternatively, if you’ve earned your GED (General Educational Development) certificate or have passed the HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) or TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion) exam, you are also eligible to apply.
