Our Fontana campus has been part of the Salon Success Academy since 1970.

Our downtown Fontana location is at the heart of California’s Inland Empire. As one of our smaller campuses, the facilities are 3,141 square feet, which consist of a clinic floor, an administrative office, a large classroom that can be split to create two rooms, a student break room, a teacher’s break room, and restrooms. Students can learn Cosmetology and Nail Technology at our Fontana location.

Our Fontana campus is located on the corner of Arrow Boulevard and Bennett Avenue. With Fontana being at The Crossroads of the Inland Empire, this downtown location is easily accessible from the 10, 210, and 215 freeways and is within walking distance from the Fontana Metrolink station.

Students who attend Salon Success Academy at our Fontana campus can be enrolled in one of two programs, cosmetology or nail technology. Students divide their time between classroom learning and practicing their skills in the student salon.

The student salon is equipped with all the latest beauty tools and products, which can give students the experience of working in a fully-functional beauty salon. We expect students to practice the skills and techniques they learned on actual clients from the community. What kind of services will students provide to clients in the student clinic area?

Each student at the Fontana campus will have their own station in the clinic area, which is designed to replicate a real salon environment. Students will practice the skills they learn in the classroom, including hair care, cutting, coloring, styling, chemical treatments, manicures, pedicures, and more. A licensed professional is always on hand to directly supervise student work.

Can I learn about skincare at the Fontana campus?

Our cosmetology program includes lessons concerning skin care. However, if you are passionate about skincare, you may want to look into our Esthetician program, which is offered at the Corona, Redlands, Upland, and West Covina campuses. Our campuses are all near to each other, so you won’t have to travel far to achieve your dream education.

How do I schedule a tour at the Fontana campus?

Scheduling a tour to see our downtown Fontana facilities is easy. Call our admissions team, and we will schedule a time that works for you. During the tour, you will visit the student clinic area, check out the classroom area, and talk to students and instructors. We will also schedule an admissions interview, so you have an opportunity to get your questions answered in person, and we will have a chance to get to know you and tell you more about the Salon Success Academy experience.

What does it mean that Make-Up Designory is a continuing education course?

At this time, we are only offering our Make-Up Designory course to professionals who already have their Cosmetology or Esthetics license. The Make-Up Designory course does not have any school credits attached to it. It is more of a skill-building class for professionals who want to learn more about make-up application.

How do I schedule a tour of the Upland campus?

Contact our admissions team, and we’ll book a tour at the Upland campus! Your school tour will consist of touring the classrooms and the clinic areas, meeting with current students and instructors, and participating in an admissions interview. During the interview, we will go over the enrollment process from start to finish, discuss our programs, answer your questions, and ask you a few questions about your educational goals. It’s our goal to help you feel more comfortable at our beauty school.
