Best Halloween Makeup Tutorials

Don’t spend money on a Halloween costume in a bag that someone else will also be wearing this year! Why not have fun and get creative with your hair and makeup so you really stand out?

Halloween is an especially fun time of year for beauty school students! The holiday lets students stretch their creative muscles and experiment with hair and makeup styles beyond just the basic beauty looks they’ve been learning and practicing in school.

If you’re still looking for inspiration for your Halloween costume this year, the Beauty Buzz has rounded up the best Halloween makeup tutorials from YouTube. Even if you’re not enrolled in beauty school, these tutorials are broken down into simple, easy to follow steps, so anyone can do them!

Emily from the Corpse Bride – It’s almost scary how Promise Tamang Phan can make herself look just like Emily from Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride. All you’ll need is some white and blue cream makeup, some blue eyeshadow, a blue wig, and some time and patience.

Dia De Los Muertos Candy Skull – This was a very popular look for Halloween last year and we expect it to be popular again this year! El Dia de los Muertos is a colorful Mexican holiday that celebrates people who have passed with gifts and sugar skulls. Watch this video to learn how to make yourself into a walking, talking candy skull.

Zombie– It’s not easy to look freshly dead! It takes lots of white base makeup, blush, and contouring. If you want to look like you survived the zombie apocalypse this Halloween, this video is for you.

Jessica Rabbit – If you’re looking for a Halloween costume that’s a bit more glamorous, who is more glamorous than Jessica Rabbit? Promise Tamang Phan is so good at what she does, we just had to include a second Halloween makeup tutorial from her!
