The 7 Minute Makeup Routine Every Girl Should Know

Whether you’re running late for work or only have a few minutes to get ready for a night out, every girl needs a go-to makeup routine. Here’s the 7 minute routine you should know:

1 Minute

When you’re in a hurry, it’s easy to skip the maintenance part. But this first, easy step, might be the most important for healthy, glowing skin! Wash your face with a gentle cleanser to remove any oils, dirt, or residue. Pat your skin dry, then apply a moisturizer.

3 Minutes

Apply a foundation that’s buildable to achieve the level of coverage you need. Use a primer beforehand, especially if you’re using a powder foundation. If you have oily skin, choose an oil free primer. Be sure to blend the foundation into your neck and hairline. For a contouring effect, lightly apply a bronzer to the areas where the sun naturally hits your face including your forehead and t-zone. Add some blush to highlight your cheekbones. Not sure what blush shade to choose? You can’t go wrong with peach. It’s the most universal, especially in a natural sheer formula.

2 Minutes

Your eyes are one of your most important features. A good night’s sleep is essential for your eyes, overall beauty and wellbeing, but when you can’t get all the Zs you need, makeup can do wonders. Avoid black liner that’ll make your eyes appear smaller. Instead, use a charcoal gray or light brown eyeliner pencil to define your waterline and upper lid. Unlike liner, dark black mascara will make your eyes pop.

1 Minute

Finish your look by defining your eyebrows. Fill in any sparse areas and blend evenly with a spooly brush. Use a brow gel to neaten the hairs and keep them in place.
