4 Minute Holiday Party Makeup Tricks
Do you always feel in a rush around the holidays? In the midst of holiday shopping and celebration parties, you need a quick makeup routine that will get you out the door looking your beautiful best in no time at all. Use our 4 minute holiday party makeup tricks and you’ll be in style for all your holiday parties!
1 Minute 30 Seconds: Prep the Face
Apply a moisturizer to hydrate your skin and give it some anti-aging benefits. Allow it to dry and then apply a primer to lock in that moisture. The primer will seal your pores, reduce fine lines and help your makeup go on more smoothly. It also lessens the need for a lot of concealer or foundation, and helps your makeup stay on longer. Apply your foundation or concealer. You don’t need to apply it all over your face; just focus on areas that need coverage like under your eyes and over noticeable blemishes.

1 Minute: Add Some Definition
Apply powder bronzer to add definition to your face. This will highlight your cheekbones and contour your face. To draw even more attention to your cheekbones, add some blush. Smile and lightly apply a red, pink, peach, or tan color to the apples of your cheeks. Choose the color that complements your natural complexion.
1 Minute: Add a Pop of Color
Use a pop of color to highlight your lips and eyes. Choose lip color with your eyes in mind. For green and hazel eyes, consider cherry-red. If your eyes are blue, you might want to select from coral hues. And brown-eyed gals can opt for rosy tones! Whether it’s a deep red lipstick or a shimmery eye shadow, that added color will quickly transform your look from day to night. A gold, silver, or sparkly beige shadow can be just the thing to get a festive look. In a matter of seconds, you’ll be pretty and party-ready.
30 Seconds: Apply Mascara
Mascara makes even the most tired eyes look wide awake. To get long and luscious lashes, wiggle the mascara wand slightly at the base of your lashes then swipe to the tips. If you don’t have time to use an eyelash curler beforehand, you can simply use your index finger to hold the lashes upwards for a few seconds after applying the mascara.
Take advantage of these 4 makeup tricks and you’ll be ready to go! Enjoy the holiday season feeling beautiful!
