Hot Weather Hairstyles
Spend more time at the beach and less time in front of the mirror this summer. Just because the weather is hot and humid doesn’t mean your hair has to look it! Hot weather hairstyles can be effortless! Get your hair under control with these easy hairstyles:
Messy Bun
Sweat, sea salt, wind, and humidity can leave your hair frizzy and difficult to tame. Getting a sleek, neatly pulled back style is nearly impossible during the hot summer months. So don’t bother! Instead, pull your hair back into a high, messy ponytail. Twist your hair, then wrap it around itself and secure it with a hair elastic. To create volume, reach your fingers under your hair and tug it forward. For an undone look, pull a few strands from the bun.
Manageable Braid
Braids are an easy answer to the summer do. Whether you’re just coming back from the beach or looking for a quick date night style, a fishtail braid can do the trick. If your hair is tangled, spray in a little leave-in conditioner and brush it through with a paddle brush. Split your hair into two sections. With one section, grab a small outer portion and crisscross it to the other section of hair. Repeat this by alternating between the two sections until you’ve reached the ends. Then, tie the braid with a hair elastic.

Knotted Updo
Separate a small section of hair by one ear, divide it into two pieces, and tie a loose knot. Repeat and add new sections of hair to each knot you make, working your way across your head to your other ear. Continue this until you’ve incorporated all the hair, then tie it together with a hair elastic. Twist the knotted hair and wrap it around itself to make a large gathering at the nape of your neck.
Braided Mohawk Pony
When it’s hot and humid, the last thing you want is hair sticking to the back of your neck. Make a loose French braid down the center of your head, from front to back. Gather the hair into a pony at the back of your head. To finish it off, take one of the longer strands of hair from the ponytail. Wrap it around and pin it under the pony to hide the hair elastic.
